Hi ken,
Thanks for sharing the photos. Handsome fella! A kuku with a high-rise backdrop makes a welcome change! I hope you will bring out the best in him in the coming months.

Best wishes,
Peter

Wow, looks like very great.. Thanks for sharing.. I'm really enjoy it. Jessejames eyes are very sharp, if he's not mentioned about that i not notice the making on the leg. Hmm, he also one of the spotted dove master i guess.. The color of the leg are slightly lighter than the bird in Penang. many be Jessejames is correct, it's a breeding with Jawa.

Here the pic for 2nd bird. This bird sing quite special cos first sound no guk, 2nd and subsequent will be 1 or 2 guk. mostly sing in guk 1. There's a white single feather on the wing. Don't know why, Anybody know what the white feather sign for? Jessejames, may be you can comment on that..

To: peter,jessejames n hooi,

thks for the comments,
The leg band was bought from a birdshop in batam, its actually meant for pigeon which is larger thus easier for me to insert in its leg.had it there just for id purposes.

its purely a local 'white feather' wild terkukur which is living in a resort when i got him.maybe too much BBQ leftovers that makes his size

i have a vocal spotted kuku(crossed with jawa kuku),they are much lighter in color and got rather weaker wings than wild birds and i upload asap, thks!

The tray which it was residing was custom-made to fit my window ledge and can only be hang on a wall not like sankar layang, below are 2 more pics....
